A one-hour-long session, final edited images and download and printing rights, communication with me before your session for questions, etc. Fresh 48 sessions are taken at the place of birth within 48 hours.
Documentary newborn: $500*
I often wonder what life was like when I was born. And even more so when I was a toddler and my sister was born. What did this life for my family of four look and feel like? Was it as messy as I think it was? Was my mom as tired as I am? Did my dad help out as much as my husband now does? My mom doesn’t have even a handful of photos that can tell me and it hurts a little piece of my heart now as an adult and a mom.
With that being said, these sessions are meant to help preserve those first few weeks of baby’s life. No posing or fancy clothes, just you and your loved ones enjoying time with the new addition to your family. Sometimes “enjoying” also means crying and messy diapers and that is all part of what I want to capture for you. These moments fly by all too quickly (I know this as a mother of two) and I only wish I had more photographs to look back on and more importantly share with my children.
Price includes: A three-hour-long session at your home (anytime within the first month or so of baby’s life), final edited images and download and printing rights, communication with me before your session for questions, etc.
Documentary family: $500*
A three-hour-long session, final edited images and download and printing rights. I get to come and hang out with you and your family to tell your story. Longer sessions are also available.
PACKAGES
Combine a newborn session with another session (maternity or fresh 48) and receive $50 off. I am happy to put together other packages that work for you and your loved ones. Just let me know what is best for you!
BIRTH PHOTOGRAPHY
Moms- and Dads-to-be: Please let me know if you are interested in birth photography. The birth of your child is one of the most important days of your life. Hiring a birth photographer ensures you will have beautiful photographs of the precious moments leading up to, during, and after the birth of your child. Documenting the emotion between a family, a woman falling in love with her partner all over again, two parents becoming grandparents for the first (or second, or third) time, the first breath of your child, his/her first smile, his/her tiny hands and feet, and so on.
Having a photographer there with you and supporting you allows you and your partner and any other loved ones to be present in the moment and not have to worry about taking any photos yourselves.
Other than to document this special time, I understand that my main job is to be sensitive to the needs of a laboring woman, to be quiet, unobtrusive and supportive.
